Terms & Conditions

 

Below are our terms and conditions which you need to be aware of if you are using this website and/or making an order with Tea Huggers. We reserve the right the edit these terms and conditions at any time. However if you have ordered goods online the terms and conditions which were live at the time, shall apply to your order.

 

Availability

When you submit your order, the teas are subject to availability. When you receive an email from us acknowledging your order, this is not a guarantee of delivery. If we are out of stock of the teas, you’ve ordered we’ll let you know as quickly as possible and either let you know when they will be in stock again or a full refund will be offered.

 

Product description and pricing

We will try to ensure that all information on product descriptions, details and prices of products that appear on the website are correct. However there may be an instance that information displayed when you make an order is not correct and we will try to rectify any mistakes as soon as possible. The prices for all Tea Huggers products available on the website will all be available on the website at the time of order. A delivery charge will be added if applicable. If there has been an error on the website with regards to prices, we’ll get in touch with you as soon as we can, after you’ve made your order and give you the option of reordering your products at the correct price or allowing you to cancel your order. If we are unable to contact you we will automatically cancel your order. The prices quoted on the website refer only to products sold via this website. All prices are shown in £ sterling and include VAT where applicable (there is no VAT on tea).

 

Making an order

Once you make an order via the website, you’ll receive an email from us confirming your order. The contract between you and us will be completed when we dispatch your order of Tea Huggers products to you, unless we have let you know that we are unable to process your order or if you have cancelled it. The company who we use to deliver your order we make every practical effort to deliver your products, however if they are unable to do so, your order will be cancelled and your payment for the products will be refunded to your card.

 

Paying for your products

Once you’ve made your order, we’ll check your card details, stock availability and then we’ll take payment from your card. You must enter a valid credit or debit card and the address at which the card is registered must be the same as your billing address.

 

Delivery

Once you’ve made an order, you’ve paid in full and we’ve processed your order, ownership of the product/s will pass to you once we have delivered your products to you (either directly or via a neighbour). Once an item has been delivered, risk of damage or loss of the product passes to you. Please see our delivery options in the delivery section on our website. 

 

Cancellations and returns

Once you’ve made an order online, you have the right to cancel it within 24 hours of placing it. To cancel your order, please email hello@teahuggers.co.uk and we will endeavour to issue you a full refund. You will receive a full refund including the original postage for the order, if your order included a postage charge. If your products have already been processed for dispatch and cannot be reversed, then you will have to wait for delivery of the cancelled goods. Once you’ve received your products, we hope you are pleased with them. If you are not and wish to return a product to us for any reason you may do so within 30 days of the order date. The products must be returned in good order and in a saleable condition with all the original packaging undamaged. Once we receive the products back to Tea Huggers HQ (see below), we will refund the price of the product or replace it. Return delivery charges will only be refunded if the product/s are faulty or damaged or we have sent incorrect products to you. This does not affect your statutory rights. Returns outside the timeframe set out above may only be accepted at the sole discretion of Tea Huggers. Refunds and exchanges

If you are due a refund, we will process it and refund the money due onto the debit/credit card on which the original order was made. A refund will be made within 30 days of the cancellation of the order or the return of the products. If we are unable to credit your debit or credit card, we will try to contact you to arrange another payment method.

 

Discounts and promotions

If you are planning on using a promotion or offer when making an order on our website, you must use a valid promotion code when you checkout.

 

Indemnity

As part of the contract between you and Tea Huggers, you agree to indemnify and hold Tea Huggers harmless from all liabilities, claims and expenses that arise out of the content you transmit, post or submit, via the Tea Huggers website, or from your use/misuse of the website, or the use/misuse by any person for whom you are responsible or from your violation of the terms and conditions. 

 

Governing law

The contract between Tea Huggers and you, under which you have made your purchases, shall be governed by, and interpreted in accordance with English law. The English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us. This does not affect your statutory rights.
